Documents we help with

  • Birth, marriage, and death certificates
  • Divorce and other court records
  • School records, diplomas, and transcripts
  • Powers of attorney and notarized personal documents
  • Company and business documents
  • FBI background checks through the applicable federal process

Each document follows its own requirements. Bring the complete document and the receiving organization’s instructions for an in-person review.

What to bring

Bring the physical documents and tell us the destination country. The California process requires a qualifying original, certified, or notarized document; an ordinary photocopy is not sufficient. Some vital records need additional county certification, depending on the signing official.

What an apostille does

An apostille authenticates an official’s signature, capacity, and applicable seal or stamp. It does not validate the contents of a document or guarantee acceptance by the receiving organization.

For companies with California documents

We also assist outside companies with their California document needs. Corporate arrangements are available. Visit an office to discuss your documents and ongoing service needs.

Other jurisdictions and international processes

California is our specialty. If your documents were issued elsewhere, bring them for review so we can confirm the appropriate service. Federal apostilles, authentication, and embassy legalization follow distinct processes.
